#35: An American in Montreal
This is the first posting of some songs recorded by Small Town Treason. I'll post the six songs that we recorded for our EP, The Pearl.
Here he comes again, that American, walking on down the line. He's only got one solution, start a people's revolution. But truth be told they don't have a leader and can't find the people to back it up either. Here he comes again, that American, walking on down the line. In Toronto they don't know what's really going on, until they head out west and join the rest in Saskatchewan. In Brooklyn they don't know when things are really worthwhile until they head upstate and leave the gates of their cool, cool pretty little town. But in Montreal we all know what's really going on. Cause we're having some fun avec beaucoup de personnes, we're really going on. If you can't beat em' then you might as well join em' cause all you'll do is disappoint them. You dance their dance and and throw their confetti, you talk their talk and eat their spaghetti. I know you don't want to be a conformer but I've walked these streets and I have to inform you, here he comes again, that American, walking on down the line. In Toronto the don't know what's really going on, until they head out west and join the rest in Saskatchewan. And in London town the hunker down with the same old songs until they hitch a ride and hit the countryside and find something something new. But in Montreal we all know what's really going on cause we're having some fun avec beaucoup de personnes, we're really going on.
