#43: Brooklyn Bound Train

I spent the end of last week in Brooklyn. Got some ideas, loved the neighbourhood, going back as soon as possible. This song might not make any sense but this isn't supposed to be one of those songs. It leans a bit more towards art (maybe bad art but art nonetheless) and bit away from music I think. That statement will probably require some explaining which may happen sometime soon. Tried to write a song with typical structure today but got depressed and fell asleep for the rest of the afternoon.

You're on a Brooklyn bound train, you got a broken down brain, you need to head downtown to find some peace of mind. A generation wants some more, a generations getting bored, give us blood and gore let us go to war. Send us overseas, teach us about a terrible disease, teach us to fight the blight, just say the word, we'll fight the hoooodlanese. Let us go to war, let us have something to fight for, no one ever slit their wrist with a trench to dig and a nurse to kiss.
