#50: Halfway to Nowhere

This is my fiftieth song. I'm halfway to completing my project. My Dad thought I should celebrate somehow so for this song I invited the Joads from Oklahoma up to the cottage. Everyone grabbed an instrument and this is what happened. Special thanks to Tom for leading the band.

I'm half way dreaming and halfway aware,

I've burned through more than half my money.

I'm half on the ground and half in the stars,

I'm half looking forward but touching my scars,

I'm half for the moment and half in my head,

I've built a whole house but still share a bed.

I'm half way in heaven and half way in hell,

I'm half way sick and half way well,  

I'm way strong and half way weak,

I'm half way bold and half way meek.

I'm going nowhere, there's no half way,

i'm stuck in a circle of circular days, 

I've learned that things in life ain't straight,

We ride around the sun to get to this place!
